Iyengar Yoga for everyone and anyone. Yoga for equanimity and peace. Yoga for strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and meditation. Yoga can be modified for you.

Registering is a 2-Step Process

#1 Purchase a Package Pass for the Spring Series or a drop in class.

You select either In Person or Zoom Pass for your class (please read carefully) then use that pass to Book your In Person or Zoom class on the day/time and teacher you want.

  • purchase the package pass, You must select carefully!
  • OR a single class Drop in class. (good for any single class this year)
  • Click  “Confirm” and look on the next page to register for your class

THEN YOU MUST Register for a class:

#2  Click “View Schedule”

  • see the Calendar
  • select correct month/day/class, DO NOT re-purchase a pass, just “Use Account Balance” please.
  • Book each week of your chosen class or drop in day.

You will then get confirmation zoom links for your class(es), or a confirmation of the In Person registration.

The process is like going to an amusement park: walk in the gate, go to the ticket booth and purchase some tickets (the generic package pass or drop in pass). Then go to a ride and use the ticket (Register/Book your class) to ride.

Class Descriptions

Spring Series

May 2 – June 25 classes on Zoom and some In Person

Some teachers are resuming In Person/Zoom classes. In Person are limited to 10 with proof of vaccination (valid exemptions allowed). Check each teacher’s schedule for classes, dates and prices.

Please see the Class Descriptions to help make a decision about which class to attend.

Monday:

 All Levels 9:30 – 11:00 am with Sue, Zoom/In Person  3 weeks

Experienced Intermediate 6:00 – 7:30 pm with Sue Zoom/In Person 3 weeks

Tuesday:

All Levels 10:30 – 12:00 pm with Susan Zoom/In Person (Zoom 8 Weeks, In Person 4 weeks)

Beginning 6:00 – 7:15 pm with Susan Zoom/In Person ( Zoom 8 Weeks, In Person 4 weeks)

 Wednesday:

Supported/Intermediate 11:00 – 12:15 pm with Linda Zoom 8 Weeks

Saturday:

All Levels 9:30 – 11:00 am with Sally Zoom 8 Weeks

All Levels 11:30 – 1:00 pm with Sally Zoom 8 Weeks

8 week series: $112/8 classes, 3 weeks $42, 4 weeks $56

single drop in class:  $15 Zoom only

Make ups: All classes are recorded and emailed to all class members. It will not be possible to attend other classes if you are not registered for the class, nor to alternate zoom and in person. Recordings available for 2 weeks.

Thoughts on Why Inclusivity Is Imperative

Black people and their lives matter. They matter to all of us.

Everyone, no matter their race, gender, ethnicity or background matters and they are important. We must stop defining people with divisive and thoughtless definitions.

Stretch/Strengthen/Breathe 

The Yoga Space has been helping people for over 20 years find balance in their lives. This is especially true now! The virtual platform is convenient; get away from “zoom fatigue” join with others in a relaxed way; no need to impress anyone, feel a part of a community. Iyengar Yoga offers unique ways to move that relieve the fatigue and tightness of sitting in front of a computer or dealing with grumpy kids, or that feeling of loneliness and overall feeling of being cooped up inside all day.

Find balance in your life:

strength v flexibility

agitation v slugishness

energy v inertia

distraction v attention

Students are encouraged to work at their own pace, learn their limits, observe themselves, respect and know their bodies. Change and growth should be the student’s choice. Classes are progressive and each class is different depending on the make up of the class. Teachers have gone through a rigorous training and are Iyengar Certified.
